Hey, my name’s Roland, and I am a Software Developer from Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦. I have been around computers my entire life, and have been coding professionally since 2013.

I am currently in the AdTech industry as a Staff Engineer at Sharethrough. I work on a big monolith processing 1 - 1.5 million requests / second, which was written in Scala. And I have also built some microservices written in Go, which used to be my daily language and I still LOVE IT!

My interests are in distributed-systems, infrastructure & all things linux. In my free time I love spending time with my family, play video games or make art.
